First Annual Clonetopia 2026: California’s Biggest Legal Clone Drop Ever (May 16–17)
Clones have always been the grower’s cheat code—pre-selected genetics with predictable results—but legalization did something weird to the clone scene. It made clones more available and harder to find.
The market for starts is shattered across hundreds of stores and brands. Most people don’t know when to start, where to shop, or how to keep clones thriving long enough to make them worth it. Retailers have a hard time too, because clones aren’t shelf-stable products. They’re living inventory.
Clonetopia is the fix. Use the strength of legalization—communication and public events—to unite demand (growers) and curate supply (trusted nurseries and known cuts). In one weekend, you can meet the cloners, learn what you’re doing, and walk out with genetics that are built to win.
At Clonetopia—celebrate the strength of uniformity. Clones are the anti-roll-of-the-dice: guaranteed good-looking, smoking, and tasting pot, because someone already did the selection work for you.
This is the first annual Clonetopia—and by footprint, lineup, and coordination, it’s California’s biggest legal clone drop ever.

Why Clonetopia matters
One good part of legalization—the communication. The ability to say, publicly and clearly:
- Here’s when to start
- Here’s where to get your clones
- Here’s how to keep them alive
- Here are the people who made them
Clones are living inventory. Stores struggle to keep them perfect. Consumers miss the timing window. Meanwhile, more Californians can grow legal weed than ever—and don’t—because the path isn’t obvious.
Two locations. Two days. One mission: get growers dialed.

San Francisco: Solful (Outer Sunset)
Solful — 900 Irving St, San Francisco
Venue: Solful San Francisco

Richmond: 7 Stars + Exit Now (next door)
7 Stars Holistic Healing Center — 3219 Pierce St, Richmond

What’s happening: the party expands into the Exit Now art gallery next door—more room to browse, talk shop, and grab your starts.

Tip box: how to get your clones home alive

Clones are living starts, not souvenirs. A little planning = a way better success rate.
Bring:
- A shallow box or tote to keep pots upright
- A couple paper towels (for spills)
- A trash bag or tarp (protect the car)
- If it’s hot: a cooler with no ice (just insulation), or keep the car cool
Do:
- Keep clones upright and shaded
- Drive them home same day
- Give them gentle light the first 24–48 hours (not full-blast sun)
Don’t:
- Don’t leave them in a parked car
- Don’t “celebrate” by putting them straight into harsh sunlight
- Don’t overwater on day one—many clones are already at the edge of saturation
First-week rule: your job is stability, not speed.
