June 30, 2026 | SAN FRANCISCO—The world’s best cannabis strains in hash form, as well as the latest trending modalities, and devices draw over a thousand tokers to San Francisco July 7 through 13th. (RSVP to events here.)

All media is invited to experience the new flavors, modalities, and products on Tuesday, July 7th in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. on SF Hash Week Day 1. We host a Budtenders’ Thank You Party at The Green Door SF (843 Howard St).

The leading trends in cannabis include California State Fair award-winning strains like Whitethorn Rose. Plus, newly infused pre-rolls from Master Makers. Also: all-in-one vape pens from brands like Oakland’s Holy Water. And—new strains like Mega Peaches, washed by San Francisco’s Fire King.

What’s new? People want their weed in easier, more potent formats.

  • Vapes have eclipsed the sale of cannabis flower for the first time in California history this year.
  • Pre-rolls have become the number one selling unit in the U.S.
  • And pre-made joints infused with hash are a surging 14% year over year.

California cannabis does an estimated $10 billion in total sales. Cannabis nets about a $1 billion per year in state excise taxes alone.

There are roughly 4 million past month marijuana users in the state. A small but highly engaged segment use “hash” or “dabs”, live and cured resin, rosin, and vapes. Extracts also power cannabis edibles like Kiva Lost Farm’s new Purps Collection.

SF Hash Week’s most expensive item is a three-hash flight that retails for nearly $300. This “Taste of Humboldt” drop party Saturday, July 11 includes an appearance by the state’s No. 1 rock star producer Huckleberry Hill Farms; similar to a record release party with Metallica.

San Francisco has the nicest cannabis lounges in the world—with 12 licensed consumption spots that are part of the most authentic, accessible, and vibrant counterculture tourism offerings in the world.

Why now? ‘710’ is “oil” upside down—if “420” is code for weed, 710 is for hash. Cannabis culture created “710” about 13 years ago.

Media in need of interviews, or story ideas are encouraged to contact SF Hash Week and get guest listed for events, or we can sit you up with interviews with retailers, producers, growers, and artisans or experts for all your cannabis story needs.

Prepared quotes:

“The hash audience is smaller but more engaged than our weed week, called SF Space Walk in April. And like politics—it’s not about sheer numbers, it’s about how excited your audience is to turn out,” said David Downs, “High Times” columnist, author of “Marijuana Harvest” and SF Hash Week organizer, who lives in The City.

“Solful is releasing over 15 different hash products for 710 this year including our first full-melt and pressed dry sift. It’s our deepest extract lineup ever, and it reflects how important this crowd is,” said Eli Melrod, leading the Solful collection of stores.

“We’re excited to share stories from 3 of Humboldt County’s diverse regions through the “Taste of Humboldt” drop party. As a first edition collaboration and micro batch drop, SF Hash Week is the perfect place to spotlight it.” —Hannah Whyte, co-owner, Emerald Queen Farms
