California remains the world’s cannabis genetics epicenter and Clonetopia helps streamline access to them. No more ‘knowing a guy’ or sketchy internet buys. Clonetopia offers a tightly curated lineup of top-tier and value-buy genetics from nurseries including Purple City Genetics, HendRx Farm, and Talking Trees-Rootimentrees. Appearing for the first time at Clonetopia is Green Dragon Nursery from Los Angeles—selector of the “Becky” cut which was renamed Toad Venom.

Expect all new, limited-edition releases from the nurseries, as well as classics, and surprises.

Why Growers Choose Clones Over Seeds

Unlike seeds, which are not fixed and can require “hunting” through packs to find a “keeper”, clones come pre-selected by the breeder or nursery. Clones can save commercial facilities tens of thousands of dollars popping packs, and hunting phenos, only to strike out on a keeper.

“Clones offer what I call ‘terps on target,’” said journalist David Downs, leading Clonetopia. “There’s power in uniformity.”

Clonetopia Event Hours, Location and Activities

The Clonetopia reception each day, Saturday and Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. includes an art show in the Exit Now event space, as well as local food, DJs, growing lectures, and giveaways.

Clonetopia attracts cannabis gardeners as well as commercial growers from across the Bay Area, California, and the United States.
